When Can I Travel After Rhinoplasty?
The question is when can I travel after rhinoplasty? I think the main issue with travelling is that I prefer my patients to be close to home. If they were to have a problem, whether that be infection or have some bleeding, I don't really want them to be out of country or on an airplane somewhere; I'd like them to be able to easily call me and come in for treatment if it's required. The actual travelling, for example, being in an airplane is not a problem as long as the flight is short, and as long as you have the capacity to seek medical attention at your destination. Many of our patients will travel home within a couple of days, as long as it's not a long airline flight or long road trip I think that is perfectly safe.
