Is There a Way to Prevent Bruising After Rhinoplasty?
The question is, is there anything I can do to prevent bruising or make it go away more quickly? The truth is, the bruising is often temporary in most cases; using ice packs or trying to cool the area around the eyes can sometimes help. Many of our patients will take an herbal supplement to try and improve the bruising, but for more patients, time will allow the bruises to settle completely and it's quite effective to simply use camouflage makeup to the area for the first week or two after the surgery.
